Cancer, we will beat you.

Cancer. It's one of those things that needs to be defeated. It takes and ruins lives, and causes pain for all. One day, I hope that we will get there. Cervical cancer now has a vaccine, which I've had. Even though the injections were a pain (you have three, and they make your arm heavy), anything is worth preventing the risk. Hopefully it won't be long until breast cancer has been cured, but until then there are still things which we can do.

This year, I've decided to enter the Race For Life in my local town Chesterfield. It's 5km, which is just over 3 miles. I'm going to try and raise as much money as I can, but obviously they will benefit from any amount I make. It's better than not entering at all and sitting on the sofa all day. Women any age can enter, as you can run, walk or jog the distance. Personally, I'll be walking and maybe trying to jog. It's worth doing. I've also ordered a t-shirt which contributes towards the charity. It's a great day as well. As well as raising money, there's a warm-up class and a medal when you cross the finish line. You can even bring people along to support you.

Hopefully anyone reading this will be persuaded to join in!
If not, do your bit and donate at https://www.raceforlifesponsorme.org/hollysnaith/
It's all going to a good cause.
